Work-Based Learning (WBL) is a powerful tool for bridging education and industry, but training and licensing requirements for WBL coordinators vary widely across states. In this session, we’ll explore North Dakota’s approach to WBL educator training and the process for obtaining a WBL Coordinator endorsement. We’ll also compare requirements from other states to identify commonalities and gaps.
Attendees will engage in an interactive discussion, sharing their own experiences and best practices in WBL coordinator training. Together, we’ll begin building a framework that could serve as a model for a more cohesive, nationwide approach to WBL educator preparation. Whether you are an administrator, state employee, a seasoned WBL leader, or new to the field, this session will provide valuable insights and collaborative opportunities to strengthen WBL programs across the country.
