ACTE's National Work-Based Learning Conference

Educators of Tomorrow (EOT) is an interdepartmental collaboration within Los Angeles Unified among CTE-Linked Learning, Human Resources, and Personnel Commission to increase the instructional workforce through our homegrown child development and public service pathways. Throughout the school year, students are prepared to pass district exams required for the teacher assistant (TA), an entry-level position that is a career pathway towards a teaching career. Our unique approach culminates in a hiring event where district personnel directly hire our students as teacher assistants and other entry level positions, offering graduates a seamless transition into the teaching profession.
