ACTE's National Work-Based Learning Conference

Discover how districts across the country are expanding high-quality work-based learning (WBL) for all students! In this session, we’ll share key insights from our cross-site WBL analysis, “Clearing the Path: Addressing Equity Blockers to WBL in the New Skills Ready Network”. We’ll highlight our findings from the report, including innovative strategies districts use to tackle common obstacles and build a diverse portfolio of WBL options that meet their goals. You’ll complete an activity to self-assess your own school/district’s portfolio approach to WBL.  

We’ll also dive into the power of employer-designed challenges to diversify and scale WBL effectively. You’ll leave with step-by-step recommendations for how to create impactful design challenges, ask the right questions, and collect and analyze data to track success.
